I’ve been following this thread since it originated. I think they would sell.
I base this on experiences I’ve seen with other brands. I’ve seen similarly styled guards created for Anschutz 54 Match and 1700 series actions that are being put into stocks by Robertson/Pharr, Wooster, et al for smallbore silhouette and RF BR. There have been limited production runs for the CZ 452 series that sold quickly. Since the Remington 700 series seems to be not only one of the most produced rifles, it also is widely (perhaps most widely) modified.
I can’t say it would turn your garage into a worldwide distribution center but I think you would sell whatever you produced.
Yes, that's what I meant, thank you for clarifying.1 and 2 hole, 10-32 and 1/4 but the same holes on each so either a 1/4 or a 10 not both
FWIW & IMHO,
They are not exactly up my alley, however, I have little doubt you can find a market. As they say: "There is an ass for every seat."...
I found the Hawkins Precision"Oberndorf" Trigger Guard to be ugly as homemade sin. That being said the owner said he can't get them out of the door quickly enough. You know Americans will typically love things IF they are NEW..
Regards, Matt.
If you painted it matte black or gloss black, it would look great on my beautiful remington 700 ADL. I would get one.
Very nice work. Hurry up and get some for sale.....LOL
Yeh hurry up it's going on five days now since you posted the prototype. Let me know when have a price set up, I'm sure I'll take a few if the price is fair.
