remington 540x part interchangeability?

i have a pair of 540x rifles and a 540xr that i just got. what models have parts that i can scavenge for these rifles?
looking for extra bolts and trigger parts.

also how can i find out the date of manufacture on these?

Hope I can help some. Last year I put together a 540XR from a barrelled action. I got a bolt from one of the 580 series, and a trigger group from either a 580 series or a 540 something. I got them from Outback. call and see what they have available. I sent the bolt and action to my LGS and had his adjust the head space and install it. Unfortunately the trigger group that I installed was not adjustable, but it works. Trying to get the adjustable trigger is almost impossible. I had an adjustable one but the trigger itself was broken--and I was unable to finda replacement part.

thanks. i will call and talk with them today.

the guns are in fine working condition with adjustable triggers and nice bores. really thinking leaving the best shooter as a 22lr and converting the other to a centerfire. thanks
