I don't at all consider myself a top rim fire guy, but I do enjoy shooting them and they have helped me learn principles that can be carried over to other firearms as well.
Anyway I have 2 bolt action .22's that I shoot: One is a Remington 540X and the other is n H&R 12. I was asking about what kind of bore guides you guys were using and USMCDOC (Randy) who is on this site, sent me a PM and offered to make bore guides for me for those rifles. I just received them and I'm very impressed and he is VERY reasonable. I would just recommend to anyone that's looking for a bore guide to clean their bolt action .22 to contact him. He's super nice to talk with also.
