REMAGE Accuracy Potential

I'm in complete agreement with you.
Rifle 1: Kelbly Atlas Tactical action, Krieger 8T shouldered barrel chambered in 6CM
Rifle 2: Rem 700 SS trued action, Krieger 8T bugnut barrel chambered in 6CM

Same barrel profiles, no clear winner. Sometimes the Kelbly, sometimes the Rem. You might think the shouldered barrel would have the advantage with the Kelbly action, but hasn't proven it. Both shoot great.

The yellow rifle is my BUMBLEBEE. The main barrel is a Brux 7.5 hv. It has shot one inch at 500. It's a 40x bone stock.

I get new barrels and I spin off the Brux and put the others on. I have tested CBI, Craddock precision (which was my idea for them to start making nut barrels), and now my own Urbarifleman barrel. I tell you the truth the smallest group I shot was my barrel. And they all shot great.

The red rifle has a BRUX 12 twist 6bra 50 freebore. It shoots good but I don't see it clearly superior to the 8 twists with Berger 80s 20200217_194842.jpg 20200217_194752.jpg

I've been told in the ballpark of 0.020" to make sure that there is enough. They don't want the bolt head jamming against the barrel in any circumstance, but a little extra isn't too much of a problem, within reason. Want to emphasize that I'm relaying this third person and it is not from my own measurements.

Thanks for clearing that up. I wasn't aware of any standard on bolt nose protrusion. It seems like they would be extra generous there to prevent it.
