Accuracy potential of a RemAge barrel???

Yeah. We tend to fall in love with our smallest groups and assume that anything larger is 'on us'. While a bunch is on us, groups are going to vary in size - presumably as a normal distribution.

This was done with a plane rem 700 action and a criterion remage barrel in 6br. Timney calven trigger. Did this 5 shot group looking for a load. Good enough for what i do.

My 260AI is a CBI RemAge. Shoots great and cleans up easily. Just picked up a 6br remage (complete rifle) I'm expecting to shoot well. My dad has a 6rem with a remage as well.

You can get a stainless 700 from Buds for $340. Unless it's for super serious work I wouldn't even bother trueing it. I have built several both ways. My 243 Texas Ranger is bone stock will easily shoot 1/4 moa and the pdogs blow up just the same.
