Go to the classified forum page or guns, actions, stocks, etc. In the upper right corner on that page there is a search box for this forum. Enter Remington 700 SA 223 action and peruse the ads for prices.Haven't been here in a while.
Wondering what the market will bear for a rem 700 sa 223 bf adl with old style trigger and guard. Originally blue coated black in kg gun cote.
I am considering selling
Sorry if this in the wrong forum
This is just a question not an ad
I really wish they would take that trigger off and reduce that price about eighty dollars. Trigger is probably the only thing they're making money on as they can put it together for 25.00 or so.One can buy a new one at Bud's for $319 shipped.

Remington has a $50 rebate on 700ADL models thru the end of September. You can go to Walmart and get a complete gun for the same price . Larry
When the guns are made they are packaged then sent to whoever wants them. So I doubt. What someone says. LarryAnybody think there's a difference between Wally world guns and gun shop guns of the same model ? Was told that some of the actions on the Walmart guns are much less precise and not as smooth as the gun shop models. True or not, i do not know. Maybe this is a subject of another post. Just curious. Actually heard it from a gunsmith who worked on some of the big box store actions and personally believes this MAY be the case or just the couple he had were worse than others.
Like I said it was just his experience on a couple Walmart guns. Could have been coincidental. Definitely cheaper to buy at Walmart or Dunham's and even Gander Mountain than most or any local gunshop. When the guns are made they are packaged then sent to whoever wants them. So I doubt. OMG, reminds of a guy saying Walmart Rem 700's were made of lesser quality steel. Litigation was all I said.Think about how much sense that would make.
First you have to deliberately set up a sloppier than usual manufacturing process to produce the crappy stuff or you have to sort the crap from the good stuff and keep them separate in inventory. Then you have to ship the cheap junk to only certain customers.
I have spent more than 40 years in manufacturing products that cost a lot more and are more precise than firearms. No one intentionally makes the same product with 2 different specifications. It is too much trouble to manage for no gain.

If they have the same name it is the same product. 700 Remington is a 700 Remington .no matter wher is is got at. LarryDidn't expect that much thought to be put into the question. I guess we can all feel safe to purchase any and all products from Walmart and none will be inferior to any other stores products. Great Thanks.

Producing 2nd rate products is a sure way to go out of business. A former employer switched to a water based product to clean machined parts. Unfortunately these parts were hip implants and the inferior cleaning process resulted in an oil residue that contaminated the parts. The result was the company lost a $1 billion law suit but only had $750 million in insurance so the hospital patients wound up owning the company.
Well, I can tell you for a FACT that there are products Wallyworld sells, or at least USED to sell, that were infirior. Electronics was a big one. A MFGR...lets say Kenwood, would sell to the public through regular outlets like your average mom and pop store. They would sell you model # 7500 DVD player (I made that # up as an example) for $299. Walmart would sell you model # 7510 for $289.00. Now, Kenwood doesn't even list a 7510, but they make them "special" for Walmart with lessor parts and Walmart advertise it as a 7500 "series" player.
Now, again.....I made up the specifics because my aging mind can't recall the specifics.
Also, they sell tires that only they can get....made "special" for wally world. I come across this all the time ...someone looking for me to match Walmarts price on a Goodyear XXX tire. Goodyear doesn't list an XXX tire, but you can get it at wallyworld.[/QUOsellerseful now. Was just indicated by someone there's no way quality is different. Please
Ireload2 and milo2 may disagree with that statement. There is no way they sell inferior name brand items from Walmart than any other store. Now your saying a named brand company makes cheaper items for Walmart to sell !!!Well, I can tell you for a FACT that there are products Wallyworld sells, or at least USED to sell, that were infirior.
