reloading press

Is there a reloading press out there today being made today that cams over. Thanks
Curious as why you want to “Cam Over”?
Just puts a lot of strain on the press components and if your dies are setup properly you should not need that sort of procedure.
I have used a Bonanza {now Foster} Co-Ax for a long time and never found that I needed to put that sort of stress on it to get sizing done.
Now auditioning a Short Action Nexus press and that features stops to specifically stop any cam over and provide a consistent stop point to ensure that the case is exactly sized each time to a fixed amount to provide accurate shoulder bump.

The Second Gen AREA 419 ZERO Press. I believe the Short Action Customs NEXUS Press cams over too, you can set it up for cam over or put stops in for no cam over.

One new press, a bit pricey, by Short Action Customs, offers the option of cam over or not, and makes cam over independent of die to shell holder contact. Light cam over tends to produce more consistent shoulder bump and seating depth with threaded dies.
Yes, I've found that "light cam over" to produce the most consistent shoulder bump and is the reason I had my Co-Ax doing it. And when I got my Nexus. . . the same thing. :D

The "light cam over" doesn't stress either of these presses leading to any harm. My Co-Ax has been doing it for almost 10 years now and no problem.

'Cam over' doesn't have to stress anything. It is all in how you set up your dies.

The cam over point is the position where maximum leverage is applied to the ram. It is not a 'magic' thing. IMHO a press with a stop before cam over is easier to set up. That seems to be why some mfgs offer the option of setting a stop instead of relying on the cam over point.

I have used presses both ways and can't tell the difference in accuracy.
