Some sites have a time limit for items put in your cart to be ordered or they'll be returned to stock. This is probably why an item isn't available when you check but is a short time later.

Phil is correct. I called PV today to ask if they had incorporated any anti bot software and was told no. It’s all about the number of folks not buying what is in their cart in time. I ended up with 5 lbs of Varget yesterday but it took almost a half hour to get them.

Both PV and Hodgdon have been doing this for a while. It helps keep the playing field a little more level. The system also has the side benefit of keeping resellers( the fine folks at certain gunshows who charge $100 per pound, or primers for $150 per thousand) from buying up available supplies.

BTW, I was able to buy 5lbs twice on the same day. When I spoke to PV they said if you do that both orders will be canceled. Seeing I did not know that rule they gave me a one time pass on the 5 lbs.
