Rehabilitating a Robertson Stock

For those of you that have been following my thread on installing the new bolt head on a Farley Action, I decided to put it in a Robertson Stock that has had no less than 3 actions bedded into it over the years, the last being a Bat Neuvo. One was even a big Bat M.IMG_0778.jpeg

I kinda started over with it. After removing all of the previous bedding in the milling machine, Using LocTite 9460 epoxy, I filled in every void, using a 1.375 round fixture with release agent, I also added two pillars. I also had to remold the area where the bolt handle falls.

It’s going to be a “screwed and glued”, as the drop port feature takes away a good portion of the recoil area.

here‘s what it looks like after re machining all of the necessary cut always. It is ready to glue in the barreled action.IMG_2821.jpeg

This project is almost finished.

Looking at the Felso website they have two BR models, the Borden and the JTBR. Any comment on those two? Differences? Pros and cons to each?

Jackie, Is the BRX a Borden pattern?
