For those of you that have been following my thread on installing the new bolt head on a Farley Action, I decided to put it in a Robertson Stock that has had no less than 3 actions bedded into it over the years, the last being a Bat Neuvo. One was even a big Bat M.
I kinda started over with it. After removing all of the previous bedding in the milling machine, Using LocTite 9460 epoxy, I filled in every void, using a 1.375 round fixture with release agent, I also added two pillars. I also had to remold the area where the bolt handle falls.
It’s going to be a “screwed and glued”, as the drop port feature takes away a good portion of the recoil area.
here‘s what it looks like after re machining all of the necessary cut always. It is ready to glue in the barreled action.
