oooppss....I was thinking you had the Full length die....I would remove the expander button/ball from the de-capping assy...if you have the rite size bushing there is no need for the xepander ball...it may cause the neck tension to be less than you desire....because no matter what bushing you use it will make the neck bak to the size of the expaner.....the die set comes with a replacement de-caping pin holder...use it...

! Yes, thats exactly what I did. I removed the expander ball and used the de-capping pin holder in its place. Thanks for the insight on how far down the neck this die will size though!

Even with a Redding F/L bushing die, you aren't going to size the whole neck: it's just the nature of the Redding dies A honed Forster die or any other standard die will be needed to size the full length of the neck.
