Differences between Reddings Type S Neck Bushing Die and the Competition Bushing Style Neck Sizing D

I've been looking at the Redding Bushing Style reloading dies for .308Win and I'm trying to decide between the Type S Neck Bushing Die and the Competition Bushing Style Neck Sizing Die. In the Redding catalog it shows a cutaway view of each of the dies but the Competition die has a case in it and its hard to see everything. That brings me to my question, is the "Type S Neck Bushing Die" and "Competition Bushing Style Neck Sizing Die" the same dies only with the Competition model having a micrometer adjustment? If not what are the differences and advantages and disadvantages of each die?

The advantages of the Redding Competition Bushing Neck Die over the Type S Bushing Neck Die can be seen in the figures below.

The principle advantage is the sliding sleeve that supports and guides the case into the floating bushing for better neck to case straightness and concentricity. Also, the Micrometer adjustment provides precise and repeatable setting of the length of neck resized.

I would put a different way...

In the "S" die, the bushing starts to size the neck before the case is in the chamber - the case is unsupported while the neck is sized.

In the comp die, the case is fully in the chamber and aligned with the axis, and then the bushing is pushed down in the case.

Plus you can change the amount of neck to be sized as said above.
