North Carolina 1000 is proud to announce the opening of The Red White and Blue Benchrest Range .
Located @ 631 Avant Cemetery Rd Tennille Ga 31089.
Here is Our 1000 Yard IBS Schedule:
May 23 2020 Match 1 and 2 8am start .
May 24 2020 Match 3 8am Start
June 27 2020 Match 4 and 5 8 am Start
June 28 2020 Match 6 8am Start
Sept 26 2020 Match 7 and 8 8 am start
Sept 27 2020 Match 9 8 am Start
Nov 8 2020 Match 10 8 am start Georgia State Championship.

600 Yard IBS
Oct 3 2020 Match 1 8am Start
Oct 4 2020 Match 2 8 am Start
Oct 24 2020 Match 3 8 am Start
Oct 25 2020 Match 4 8am Start
Nov 7 2020 Match 5 8am start Georgia State Championship .

We will have IBS Light Gun , Heavy Gun , Factory,Tactical and Unlimited (Run what you brung and hope you brought enough under .40 Cal.)
We will be shooting the 2 target with shoot off so that’s Factory,Tactical and LG 5 rounds for each target so it’s 15 rounds per class for record plus sighters Heavy gun and Unlimited will be 10 shots for record so 30 rounds for record plus sighters .
Cost will be 25.00 per gun or 100.00 for all 5 for North Carolina 1000 Members or Hazard Hunting club members .
Non NC 1000 member will be 35.00 or 120.00 for all 5.

We will also be offering 2 Scholarships of 500.00 for our Members that will be going to college and studying a field that is Shooting related. IE machinist, Business Management. We will have all the details when we begin the process of accepting applications.
 
Hey just got some exciting news for or first 2 matches on Saturday May 23 we have a sponsor for money pots in each class IBS Light Gun , IBS Heavy Gun , IBS tactical , IBS Factory and Unlimited . Each class is guaranteed 100.00 for the best 4 target Group agg for match 1 and 2 if shooters would like to increase that pot they can do so for $5.00 . So come on over to the Grand Opening of Red White and Blue Benchrest Range in Beautiful Tennille Ga . Look forward to finally getting to shoot this year.
 
Had to put some information on an email to all the Manatee BR shooters this morning. Included this link to all of them as many have talked about missing the Georgia shoots.

Now it's up to a slow-down in all this craziness for some of us to plan the trip north.
 
Just want to keep everyone updated on the Match in May the way it looks right now we are still in good shape . We have been in contact with state and local government to make sure we are within requirements and here is the plan now (subject to change ) we will have a line set up to do registration and we realize this is the first match of the year and we will have shooters wanting to sign up for memberships for both IBS and North Carolina 1000 so to help with this we ask for you to do IBS online if possible if not maybe on Friday before the match the range will be open and we will take registration up then as well. Back to the match will will open registration at 645 . The process will be to use social distancing feel free to wear mask and gloves if you feel you need to while in line and throughout the day before you register we will check everyone for a temperature using a forehead scan thermometer if you have a fever I think it will be self explanatory of what you will have to do sorry but our health and safety of everyone is top priority. We will have a hand washing station as well as hand sanitizer stations to use through out the day . The benches are 8 ft apart so we will let that be our standard distancing . Please work with us through this process . The process of opening up a new range is enough pressure but then add in the Corna 19 and it becomes even more stressful .
I have type a lot to say a little but we are working hard to keep everyone updated as we go .
Also shooters will want to bring a pop up tent to clean under I don’t think the cleaning area will be completely finished but we have plenty of room for tents and part so it will work out either way .
Look forward to seeing everyone as we try to get the 2020 IBS 1000 yard season started in GA . The range will open around 8 on Friday and we will be there finishing up so feel free to come early if you need to tune BS or just hang out.

Thanks for all the support we are getting for this venture . I will meet with the manager of the Quality Inn (or Comfort Inn ) not sure it’s in Saundersville and is very nice and reasonably priced . He has told us he will give a discount for shooters so I hope to have this info soon . As with everything else some may have given about all they can but we will try.
 
This place is really coming together! I am amazed at how quickly this all came together. It wasn’t without the hard work of David, Donna, Mike and Tom Hutcheson. You guys have went above and beyond for the IBS to have another nice range! Thank you!! It’s very very close to time to have a great match. Can’t wait to see everyone again.

Target line is finished Old Glory is hung on each side and the Red White and Blue Benchrest is another step closer to shooting.

The Quality Inn in Saundersville will be our official Hotel . They are offering us 70.00 per night plus tax . The regular rate is 90.00 during the summer . Just tell them you are getting room to compete at the Red White and Blue Benchrest.
Also Thanks for the kind word from everyone we have all put a lot of work into this project and we have had support from a lot of people and business I plan on posting everyone that has helped us but with out Mr Tom this would have never happen.

One quick piece of information everyone shooting must use sure feet or something similar to protect our bench tops . We plan on working the rest of the weekend so if you would like to come help fill free to we will find you something to do .

Two weeks ladies and gents to party time! The range is really coming together so plan a trip! Low Country Boil Saturday after the match and MAYBE a cold brew. Quality Inn in Sandersville has a club rate of 70.00 and tax per night and its only 10 or so miles from the range. We look forward to seeing everyone!

Well she has came along way since January. The Red White and Blue Benchrest Range is almost finished. Located at 631 Avant Cemetery Rd Tennille Ga .We will be having a open range on Saturday May 16th from 9 am to 2 pm . We will have guns on display as well as the rules for each class . Everyone is welcome look forward to seeing you.
