I think a little more communication between match directors for scheduling and coordination of weekends in the future. We all shoot for the same reason, the gathering together, we already know Bart,Steve,Matt are gunning for SOY of course their will be others in the mix too, Hunter Hall will be shooting for JR and ROY this year...I believe the challenge bestowed to us was to Grow our Sport!!! Getting on the forum and complaining about this and that doesn’t solve help anything but make the IBS look like it is unorganized.

David said all season last year at RWB that the 2021 schedule for IBS 600 and 1000 yard matches would not be possible to keep matches from turning up on the same weekends.
The annual Florida Championship 600 yard match is not even the same weekend. In fact it is two weeks after the first matches at RWB.
It seems a hollow and childish complaint that was posted to start all this.
Will I be at Manatee? No. Why? I'll be shooting a non-IBS match that I have been active in for the last 12 years. I wish them great weather and many competitors.

Thanks for all of the hard work everyone involved with RW&B has put in, and continue to put in. Most all of us shooters are extremely appreciative for having such a nice venue to attend matches!

Have had a few ask about memberships and fees this year .
Club membership 60.00
1000 and 600 IBS per match fees members 25.00 per gun over 2 guns 10.00 additional guns 70.00 max .
Non member per match fee 30.00 per gun over 2 guns 15.00 per gun 90.00 max.
We know how expensive this sport can be as well as we know how expensive running a range can be so the below offer is simply to help the shooter as a club we lose some money on this but if we don’t have shooters it doesn’t nt really matter if we have a club. (We also know things happen out of our control if we have to cancel a match due to Covid or weather or other reasons we will do our absolute best to make these matches up so the below offer is non refundable.
Yearly fee for IBS 600 total of 6 matches for members 2 gun 245.00 3 gun 310.00 4 gun 335.00 will include a 1 year membership.

Since this is our first year of IBS short range and we are on doing 2 weekends we have decided to make it simple 15.00 for first gun and 10.00 for each gun after that per yardage .We hope to have more matches next year and hopefully we will have 100,200 and 300 yards and meters done .

We will also be raffling of a couple of guns this year at different times as well as some other prizes . I will have tickets and first gun at the first 600 yard match this year . 20.00 ticket or 6 for 100.00 (1,000 tickets ) The first raffle will be for a 6mm Dasher ,Farley Black Widow RB LP RE Sami extractor. Brux 8 twist 28” HV barrel Harrell’s muzzle brake. 20 MOA rail with Kelly 1” Polished Rings. Jewell BR trigger, polished trigger guard with Johnny Byers’s custom BR stock, pillar bedded and 10 coats of PPG DC 3000 clear coat. 271 no turn neck with .104 freebore. We will also do cash prizes of $500.00 , $300.00 $200.00 and 100.00 All Tickets will go back in raffle after each draw so you will have multiple chances to win.

A lot of improvements have or are being made at the Red White and Blue Range for 2021. Some are complete and others will be completed in the next few months . Tom hasn’t stopped since the last match in 2020 and words cannot explained how much time and effort he has put into this range to make it a must shoot on the Long Range Benchrest venues. I do not participate in the 100/200 and not familiar with all those classes. Maybe one of the regulars can chime in on that.

9 I will get you more info on the short range matches. Larry Archer will be helping with them we are just hosting and learning them as well .

He is shooting VFS which is either HV or LV as they compete as one class in score and he is also shooting 6 Power which is Hunter or Varmint Hunter as they are combined now.

This rifle is a very nice rifle. The Farley action is smooth and the 6 Dasher barrel is brand new and unfired.
The Jewell trigger is super light and clean breaking and, as always, the Johnny Byers laminated stock is beautiful.
