Recommend good smith in Midwest area

I am in northern Mich and need to find a reputable smith to do some barrel work on a 700. I don't have a smith near me. Can someone recommend in the Midwest area?

John Pierce is in Lansing, don't really know Michigan geography, don't if he is north or south. I do know he is a great gunsmith, he built my first custom, and it shoots like a laser.

Mike Bryant in Texas. Remington's are his thing, reasonable prices and fast turn around. He retired a couple years ago but came back and I don't think the words out yet. I just sent him three rifles for various work, they came back just as. Hoped they would and the turn around was very fast. He's not in your area but UPS takes care of that.
