Mauser-smith in Austin, TX?

Could anyone recommend a skilled Mauser-smith, in or very near, Austin, TX?

I am a hobbyist that very much enjoys doing what work I can do myself, but I need someone that can finish-ream / headspace and install a short-chambered cheapo Brownell's barrel on a field-grade 98, without mussin' it up too bad.

I would call this a working-man's deer hunting rifle but would still like the work done right.

You can do this your self. You just need the reamer and the gauges. I am not sure but I would bet there is a Youtube that shows how to do it. Just go slow enough to get between the Go and The No go without going past. The reason I can tell you this is I have done it on several occasions. I do understand the price of the tools maybe be as much as having some one do it.

Mark definitely knows what he he's doing I have made him a many of barrels.

Another vote for Mark. He's done a bunch of work for me, and both he and Walker are all-round great guys.

Edit: I haven't put a Mauser action through him, but I know a guy who had a 6XC built off a Mauser through him and it turned out well.
