REASON FOR SHORTAGES IN GUNS AND SUPPLIES FOR RELOADING

Actually that is the reason. Our purchases are probably like 2 percent of all the primers out there. My fear is after nov 3rd all heck may break loose and then what do we do? Times are very uncertain with this divide over the dumbest things like politics. Half my neighbors are right and half are left. We are all good friends.

You nailed it right there, well said .

Four words stick right out in that paragraph...
Dumbest, Politics,Divide,Friends .

Shortages come in and out like the tide but instead of 6 hours it's 4 years - been thru a few. Covid19 added makes is worse (exacerbate?). Retail tables that were sagging with .22LR ammo in March are now folded up and stored away in back rooms. Same reasoning between the cause of empty shelves that once held toilet paper and empty primer shelves except Beto (progressive?) has not stated an intent to take away (confiscate) toilet paper.

You were all good friends for now hopefully it will remain that way in the future

I bought 1000 rounds of Tulammo 7.62-39 for $350 shipped. After seeing what some primers were going for on Gunbroker, I figured it was a good deal!

There are three types of people, those that make things happen, those that watch what happens and those that wonder what happened. It's always best to be in the first category. :D

Everything we see or read pits the left against the right and is designed to incite animosity each for the other side. The WORST disaster for the powers in this country would be for all of us to wake up and unite against the ones causing the mess in this country.

Another thing is absolutely true. Everything you see and hear is controlled and designed to obtain an end result. Yes, even the internet. So I personally think we should look around us and make our own decisions, based on what we are experiencing - not what someone else tells us.

Interesting......I walked into B.P. last week and a full box of 1000 Fed 210M large rifle primers was sitting on the shelf. Not a rare occurrence, I saw two full boxes of magnum primers two weeks earlier. I took 5 packs @ $4.49 each and left 5 for someone else. Haven't seen any Fed SRP in a while, but CCI is on the shelf, however this is Texas, not somewhere else. My Friend in GA says tons of supplies sit on the shelf at BP, Cabelas and mom and pop stores.

I suspect that in states where local politics have fostered an alarmist attitude, mass hoarding has caused supplies to become unavailable. We all saw this with groceries a few months back when some Dip S**t said buy a months supply and hunker down, and just like that the supply chain was overwhelmed.

If your friends own firearms and vote democrat, why? Joe wants your guns, don't think his gun czar won't take the double barrel that Joe thinks is all you need. The Marxist supporting Joe want your property.

I was in a large dealers venue a couple of weeks ago and was told the problem was the Covid 19. I didn't say a word, my mined told me that was total BS.

I have always figured with all the thousands and thousands of dollars I have invested in hunting rifles and BR guns, without the groceries to feed them it renders them useless. Always thought it was wise to have a few thousand dollars worth of components available to continue to hunt and go to matches. As far as reasons for shortages some are very obvious and some are not.

The SWAMP needs Drained and Term Limits need to be fully instated for starters. (1 Term Max. On Congress and Senate). And the troublemakers need to be swiftly and sternly dealt with. (The antifas and others).

I mentioned this to U S Senator Joni Ernst many months ago. It just to time consuming according to her. Unfortunately she is the lessor of two evils.

Our forefathers expected a term in office was to be a service to those in your area, to represent them for their best interests even if it was perhaps an inconvience to you. Now it is seen as a career by all involved. But an even bigger danger is the buracracy known as "within the beltway."
But regarless of it all, everyone around the world wants in. Those within who are unhappy flap their gums about leaving, but don't (too bad). So, I guess we just need to vote and encourage others to do the same, I don't see any major reforms coming. Yes, sometimes we must just vote the lesser of evils. It is a shame.
