Reamer

A lot of folks have been having me grind a custom 22 RF reamer with spiral flutes at .2252 straight body . Some of these are 3 degree, 2 degree and 1 degree thirty . They are asking for regular .4375 shank reamers with out the rim cutter so they can choose the depth of cut . The big seller is a UNI type reamer made like our UNI Throaters with a slide stop lock nut and 5 division 40 thread stop to use like a micrometer . The set comes with a T-handle , stop and adjusters in a complete set and removable bushing. If any one needs a RF cheat sheet that has all the different RF camber dimensions, just email me at dave@kifftool.com ... Thanks Dave

I have been using the non-floating pilot PTG Match reamer and am perfectly happy with it. The truth is that all the differences between reamers is just splitting hairs. I also question whether the average hobbyist is capable of accurately setting up their lathe and reaming operation to create a chamber that perfectly matches the reamer specs.

Ah shucks , ya mean I cant use the ryobi drill ?
No really , on a good strong 2 lug at least , action Ive had much better results with the 52 win reamer . Now I only have 6 reamers ( 22 lr ) that I have tried . Using same make , batch , length barrels , 4 diff actions , the 52 win was first , then anchutz match , then ptg match , bentz , std saami cut short .
I have tried 8 diff types of ammo , then all data needs to be redone , dang ammo shortage .
I have fired over 3000 rounds of ammo , about 2000 rounds was true match , the rest would be considered club , wolf , or aguila match rifle .
