Ogive differences, the 75s have more bearing surface than 90s or most 80s, at lest the lots I have do. Plus case capacity of the dasher is such that you really don't have a horsepower problem, so running the bullet below the shoulder/ neck junction isn't going to cause an issue like the 223. Also the dasher is over bore enough that the short freebore will extend the life of the barrel and peak accuracy.I see where you're coming from. The difference between .05 and .175 through me off I guess.
