Range cart recommendations

I have tried a bunch. Last one was a Creedmore. For the rough surface and tall grass at Perry, I struggled with it. Went to the foldit cart to haul my stuff and found it way easier. That price is not excessive imo. You will spend more and enjoy it less trying to cobble together anything cheaper in a dedicated cart.
agree, the one you pick has a lot to do with where your going to use it. gravel crossing, thick grass, smooth dirt or pavement, and hills.

A used "jogging stroller" is what we use, with ATV gun mounts clamped to the sides. Easily carries 2 rifles. Barrels point within 3 feet of stroller. Don't know if that would work for you, but it has served us well for over 10 years in USPSA, IDPA, and now .22 benchrest. Collapses down easily to fit in compact cat trunk with lotsa room in the "seat" for various sundries.
There are many types of hand trucks and carts on Amazon. A little imagination, zip ties, velcro and a variety of plastic containers and bragging rights are just around the corner. Pneumatic tires are real good option for gravel or rough ground. Maybe with a little coaxing some of the guys will share what they have built. No need to re-invent the wheel, it is time to be shooting!!!!

I built my own based on tool box and tool bags. I HATE the stool bag concept, always fishing around for stuff. I keep my cart in the garage, but bring stuff down to my basement for aorting/cleaning. Now I just grab the tool bag and box and take downstairs, no more emptying stool bag in garage.
I'll do some more mods to this and tweaks as I use it, but it is lighter than other carts this style and does what i need.

Good point about the storage on the “stool carts” (Creedmoor style). I added a small backpack to the uprights of my cart for this very reason. I think the key for any solution is to have a place for everything and put everything in its place. Throwing everything into one cavernous hole was extremely frustrating!

Now I know where everything is and when I get to the line I have a system to put everything in reach… never going to forget to get my sled out and have to bend to get into my cart while my jacket is tightened! (In theory).

I think there are many solutions as long as one thinks through things and comes up with a process.

I need to use a cart/walker similar to this just to get around. But it has many options to make it into a 'shooting cart' without the seat. Mine has rubber wheels and rolls easily in gravel, lots and lots of possibilities. Be aware of making it to heavy, lifting will be required!!!Waqtch Craig's List.

I happened to be at a BR match last month and noticed a slug of the guys were using the Milwakee packout. Not sure how that will work with F-Class but it's 22" wide and 8" wheels so quite stable and the wheel placement makes it very easy to tip/roll. If it doesn't work I can always use it for something else.

I figured that's worth a try and there's a lot of options that work with it plus makerworld has hundreds of 3D prints that people have done for it. I feel like a kid in a candy store looking at all the prints people have put out there.

Milwaukee doesn't make foam for the base roller like they do for the boxes/trays, but this place does.

Tyler K what did you choose, or have you chosen? Maybe a gun bearer, like hunters in Africa?

One thing I've learned about all the carts I've bought over the years. Wheels and ground clearance.

Soft sand and gravel are horrible for the typical cart wheels and 1" or 2" ground clearance means the cart skids.

S3 and Rugged Gear are good options to look at. Any range cart you buy seems to be way over priced though.

Find a double jogging stroller on facebook marketplace and with a few mods they make great range carts.

Here’s a pic of one I use. I can carry my rifle (20ish lbs) and my wife’s rifle (15ish lbs) our gear for a match and a cooler among other things.

Paid $35 for the cart and probably another $75 for parts to add on.
