Quick Rifle Cleaning Question

An old bore brush with a patch wrapped around it, then apply Rem Clean to the patch and pull it through the bore about 10 times.

I have a Teslong but I’m still cautious about over cleaning. I think Teslong can lead some folks to ruining barrels. I follow instructions for BoreTech Eliminator but let it soak for an hour versus 5 minutes before dry patching.

I find it interesting how bore scopes have made dirty or fouled bores such a sin.

Those that lurk here and have shot for serious groups, have you seen cleaner bores making groups any better than say a short 20 years ago.

I'm in the middle of a cleaning session now that may never end!

I'll try some of the info posted here.

Pray for me...
I did finish with a clean barrel.

308 with about 500 rounds down the spout. It had a few 'light cleanings' at the range - a patch or two and a brush. This time, I really committed to a clean bore and it took good old-fashioned elbow grease. I was really shocked at how dirty it was.

BoreTech Eliminator, bronze brushes and patience. I will be cleaning after each session now
