I've done it both ways. When the batch was first sized with a neck die I ran it through the same neck die with the decap pin removed but not the expander ball. When a full length die was used i did it the same way expander ball on pin removed. Using an expander mandrel or pin gage would even be easier, if thats what you did to make the first batch. I don't see how using the same die but taking the primer out of equation makes any difference

Full length size with the decapping pin removed. Your expander ball or bushing will reset the neck tension back to original tension of the other test rounds.
