PT&G Remington blueprinted long actions ?

PT&G Remington blueprinted long actions, has anyone bought/used their actions? If so I would really appreciate your opinions concerning them. Price is over $600.00, no bottom metal.

Theyre toolmakers with the best measuring equipment and machines PLUS they know what needs to be done to blueprint one. It seems very cheap to me and id be willing to bet its perfect

read on benchrest that they true using a piloted tap.... i'd love if someone got a hold of one and actually checked it out..because you can get one wiht a new bolt for cheap

Since they make the piloted tap setup i would imagine they use it because they believe in it. They may even use their other tools to true the rest of it too. Ive got their non trued actions and true em myself so i couldnt say whether the trued ones are good or not but my bet is theyre just fine

With my experiences with PTG, I would definitely pass. Every once in a while I'll give them another change, and every time its screwed up.

I just received a SS SA, and it was anything BUT perfect. The Lawton
bolt release was in the box, but not installed. No slot for the bolt release.
the face of the receiver was .005 out of sq. The only thing that was correct
was the small pin fluted bolt. PTG has problems. LDS
