PT&G B52 actions

Rear screw holes are spaced the same as the Remington rears. I was thinking the same thing till that was pointed out to me. I have used 2 fronts on a Stiller in the past.

My biggest complaint is PTG does not offer a side bolt release. They do offer a single shot or a repeater, and it's a nice action, but my money would be the Defiance Tenacity or Stolle Atlas for a few bucks more.

Just talked to the guys at Gunwerks today. I did forget to talk to them about the firing pin clearance issue. Knew I forgot something!!!! Does anyone know if the B series are cut for extended Wyatt's boxes or just for standard Remington boxes? This rifle is going to be a wildcat built off a RSAUM case. GRB is set up for extended boxes and feed rails are gtg. Still gathering info. Have a great weekend.

I've built a 6.5 SAUM on a Rem with a Wyatt extended box. The extended box was not long enough for 140's to reach the lands with my PTG reamer throated for 140's. It's was close but still no cigar. I'd build on a long action if using an SAUM case with a magazine again.

I may not have been clear. Do the PTG B series actions have magazine cuts for Wyatt's extended boxes or just standard length Remington boxes? Thanks.

If someone has a B12 or B52 on hand and would take a few photos and post them or send them to me that would be great. Need more views than the photos on the website.

SWD how long ago did you build the rifles with firing pin clearance issues? Wondering if anyone has a recent manufactured GRB that could weigh in on that.

I went ahead and ordered a GRB today from Brownell's. RH SA magnum boltface. They had a 10% discount code so could not pass it up. Will let you know how it looks when it shows up.

I just picked up my GRB from my ffl. At first look I am impressed with the action. It is basic but well thought out in my opinion. I chose the 20° 2piece bases. I have a Jewell.to put on it and will be ordering my barrel this week. Thanks for all the information and opinions about the B52/12 and the GRB.
