I bought one as well, Mine is for the 70 Winchester. It fit to the action easy enough but had to do a lot of milling to open up the HS stock. This is not dremel tool work. When adjusting the pull, the heaver the pull, the more travel it seemed to have. At a little under 1# it is nice and crisp. Definitely not a target trigger.
There was NO instructions with the trigger so you have to feel your way through it. The side plate is held on with allen head screws for did assembly.
I have not shot the rifle yet as it is part of a project to finish.
Were you adjusting the sear engagement as well?
