Protection from Aerial Drones -- Florida Legislation

No telling what they will come up with, I like what Ron comes up with most of the time, But this seems like showing off, someone shots a hole in my brand new standing seem metal roof shooting at a drone he will most decently be getting return fire. The drunk that is the maintenance guy at the bed and breakfast will be the abuser of this law for sure in my neighborhood.

There's only two classes of people that would be flying a drone around my house... burglars and cops.

Being forced to allow burglars to plan their attacks is absurd. And once we are forced to allow our fellow citizens to violate our privacy it's only a matter of time before the courts rule that the police no longer need a warrant to do the same.

Of course any shooter that damages more than the drone needs to pay a heavy penalty. Shooting at anything in the air in an urban environment is pure stupidity.

There is more than one report of china having produced a single shot drone using a pistol caliber round. I don't remember where I found that report but you should be able to bring it up with a little search.

There was a video out of Michigan (I think) that had video from a drone with a couple of Roman Candle launchers attached. They were chasing and firing at a bunch of guys running around in the snow in their underwear. That was rather odd, but amusing.

Sorry; guess it was Canada:
