MAXIMUM AGE to Buy a Firearm

Should There Be a Maximum Age Restriction for Buying a Gun?

Absolutely not. Unconstitutional. And, besides, the premise is faulty, the mistaken idea that age equates to competency or expiry of one's rights.

That really should be all she wrote, on the concept.

Of course, the destroyers don't want that to be the last word. They want the RKBA gone. Piece by piece will be tolerable, for them, if they can't get it done wholesale.

I wish SCOTUS would simply do what they swore to us they would: their damned jobs.

Of course, try telling this to any of the people pushing for thievery of our rights.

Wait a minute. If we apply the same rules to gun ownership as voting...

No ID
No actual residence
No citizenship
No government oversight
PLUS, all the ammo you can shoot, no taxes, a free phone and health care, should you lose hearing or get lead poisoning, all on the tax payer dime!

And you don't even have to be who you say you are...

But there is more!

You can buy a gun at several polling...er...I mean ...gun shops as long as you vote the right way

I would fully support a law to restrict the sale of firearms to the elderly , Anyone over the age of 115 should have plenty by that time ,myself included . I would also include the deceased to the law .

The pathetic thing with such people (pushing for bans of this sort) is: the focus on reasonable trust has already been done (with codes/statutes that criminalize a felon getting caught with arms in the future). They mistakenly imagine an arbitrary age cut-off can equal trustworthiness or competency. Which, ironically, shows the competency and brain power of such people.

Sad, that people seek outright bans of things they despise. Plenty of ways to go after the violently criminal, and just those sorts, without being unconstitutional about it.

The 2A recognizes the people hold this right unto themselves, and it flatly states that it shall not be infringed upon. Even explains why that's so vital (because the well-armed and capable citizenry is, in the end, the best deterrent against loss of a free people); IOW, individuals are their own best defense. They knew what they were about, back then. Knew that "swamp things" would crawl out of the dark to take what's ours, as much as they feared the people would take their eyes off the ball and forget how vital it was they remain stiffly armed against such violations.

I'd fully support a choice between alligators and hangings, for those attempting such violations. Their pick.

Why would they do anything like that? Could be misconstrued as doing their job.
Since there is not one person in DC who does anything but work on getting re-elected.
Unfortunately I think the USA is coming to a close as I knew it. Seems the majority do not think as I do, because the last few presidents ( Trump excluded on most issues except his inability to get elected or cheat better than his opposition) each president and congress actions have been the opposite of mine.
This balloon bullshit? Shoot the fucking thing out of the sky and answer to no one.
Every now and then one must spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and slit throats.

I honestly think there should be an age limit for presidency
Age? Not so sure about that. A competency test of some level. Most important is a test for balls. You either have them or you don’t. You don’t have them the whole world will take a giant dump on you and your country.
If you have them, well as was said in Cat Ballou, people just naturally stay away.

This whole premise is ludicrous on it's face. Owning a firearm is Not a political
office, it is a Natural Human Right as outlined in, NOT given by, the U.S. Constitution.
It is being treated much the same as The Right to Life as outlined in the Declaration
of Independence that founded this nation on July 4, 1776.
As ludicrous of a concept as it is, Do Not be deceived! It is exactly logical to those
wishing to destroy the founding documents of this nation and the PRINCIPLES
outlined therein by the mind control media and those who own and control it.
Political discord and chaos of a nations people are tools used by those wanting
to destroy it.
