problem with br cases after firing

I have a .262 nk 6br and for some reason about 15 0f every 50 cases flare on one side of the mouth after firing. I'm relitively new to bench shooting and Ive never heard of this.
Please help.

You've got very thin walls on those necks. Are you using an ejector? If so, is the brass hitting the bench or something hard?

The only other thing I can thing of is that the necks weren't turned evenly so the thinnest section bulges more... but that's just a wild guess.

Try marking your cases on the rim with a sharpie pen to index them. Insert the loaded cases with the mark straight up,12 o'clock). Then see if the flare is always coming out at the same spot,e.g. 9 o'clock, 6 o'clock). If so, that could suggest a chamber issue.

Can you be more specific? You say flare, is it flared out or in? Do you have an ejector? If your ejector spring is very strong it is causeing the case to hit inside of the chamber. You need to lighten the spring tension or do away witgh it all together. A photo would help.

The action is a bluprinted 700 with a sako extractor and yes, an ejector. I just pulled the spring out as it was very stiff. I don't need an ejector anyway. Hoping to shoot in the morning, so I'll find out if this will do the trick. Thanks for the replies.

Wow, What a difference. No more deformation on the case mouths but best of all my groups shrunk about a tenth and no flyers.
Thanks so much again for the help.
