Only if you feel it is. Then Definitely LarryIs weighing primers worth it
The process used in making primers I can't see where weight would make a difference.I just started well at 600 yards I see no difference now beyond that it could be I'll do some more testing . 600 yards I loaded 5 the same and threw 2 in that was lighter and heavier didn't see any difference in the group...... no flyers.
What is the difference in the ES with both?Federal weighs as low as 5.3 grains and as high as 5.6 grain so .3 of a grain in the difference.
I don't think you will find a difference .I never used the chroni tonight but definitely will next time out , I was looking for difference in the group on paper.
You should shoot a Savage when you say that .. LarryI don't weigh primers, but I tell my competitors at matches that I do. The smart ones just laugh. Others give me "that look", which tells me that on days I score well, they're gonna' rush home and start weighing primers in an effort to beat me next time. Mission accomplished.![]()
Sure do . That even makes it more believable . Why else would a savage win . LarryYou should shoot a Savage when you say that .. Larry
As a matter of fact I do shoot a Savage. When they ask about my gun I tell the secret to my success is a firm connection between the barrel and action. I advise them to go home and use plenty of Loctite 638 (red, high strength) on their barrel threads. You should shoot a Savage when you say that .. Larry
