primer pocket uniformer

Like @qldreloader I use the Sinclair sold carbide uniformer. Never goes out of adjustment, lasts forever. But I have found on Lapua brass it doesn't cut anything. The pockets are deep and square.
i use one of the carbide style like you also jepp. seems like i got one for ppc/br brass and it cuts a little deeper and ive used it on 223 brass at times. dont wanna take out to much though. ive got one of these in LR to.

Can't remember how long I've had my Sinclair uniformers, long before Brownell's acquisition, use them every time I process brass.

PMA. Easily the best I’ve ever used. Tens of thousands of uses on primer pockets later, it’s still razor sharp. It’s one of my all-time favorite reloading tools

I never uniformed primer pockets until purchasing a few buckets of range brass from a local builder here in Florida. Cleaning primer pockets always consisted of a drill chucked RCBS wire brush to remove the carbon after swaging the military primer crimp away.

The large batch of CBC 5.56 brass (4k) included in the buckets had short primer pockets that wouldn't allow primers to fully seat. Primers were sticking above the base by several thousandths or worse after full brass preps.

With all the work invested @ this point, trashing the brass was not happening. Utilizing a small rifle primer sized uniforming millend tool, the brass had the primer pocket cut out to the correct depth with a mill & an improvised cartridge holder. It worked very well, but took a week to get it all done. All brass was then primed & reloaded with 55 gr Fmj projectiles.
