Primer pocket cleaning tool

My Crocogator has bit the big one and has stopped cleaning the pockets of my Lapua 308 cases well. I dislike this needed needed step, so I am looking for the mose efficient tool to clean the primer pockets prior to reloading.

Looking for suggestions from the Forum, members that have actually used the tool they recommend) on a new tool for this purpose. I need the source also.

I shoot 1000 yard F/TR Class.

Thanks,
George

:D

For a manual method, I use Lee's 2$ primer pocket cleaning tool...2 twists and you are done.

Doe the two tools mentioned above clean ALL the carbon out or just the loose "fluff" and is there still some carbon build up?

I have a ultrasonic cleaner, but don't want to go that far each loading.

Thanks guys,
George

George, it's 2 bucks :D

In fact, i'll send you mine to try if you want ;)

I have RW Hart Carbide cutter tools too...but dont use them anymore as I quit reaming primer pockets...

The Lee cleaner gets 90%+ of the carbon out...sometimes 100%

They sell, or at least used to sell, another small rifle uniformer specifically for Lapua brass but I can't find it online. It cuts a little deeper.

It's call the BR pocket uniformer, it cuts .012 deeper

I have all three Sinclair tools and they are the best that i have ever used . They are high price but they are made of quality and worth it .:thumb:
