So they say !I looked at the results of the 600y Nationals and almost all were using 450's
Yes I found them to work very well and like similar charges as wolf srm.Has anyone tested S & B?
I think what sells the CCI is it's a harder primer then the federal. I know guys running a Dasher appreciate that..

I agree but I know why many steer to the CCI. I like federal primers and use them in my WSM.I think if you don't screw things up yourself by over sizing and firing pin protrusion is right and your firing pin fit is right along with spring pressure. Use what shoots the best, I ran a dasher to 3100 with fed. primers with out issues. I know guys that blew CCI 450's. and it wasn't a top load..... Use what works...... jim
