Got mine today, (Thank You for the fast delivery) set it up but don't care for the idea of having to remove the "slot filler" so I can change shell holders. But than again, I'am old and pretty set in my ways.
Now tell me, how am I suppose to function without stepping on spent primers on the floor?? Got no snow or ice out here but I like the idea of better traction with a few primers stuck to the bottom of my shoes.
Easy install, when you read the directions.![]()

Yup, your... ''still at the bottom of the learning curve''
When I was using the RC I added a longer hose for the spent primers and dropped them straight into a 1 gallon bucket on the floor under the press.Just got around to using new RCBS RC catcher. Works like a charm. Primers don't get spit out onto the floor and are easily removed through the drain tube.
Wish I had this years ago and I wouldn't still be sweeping up stray primers from the original catcher.
Great job!!!!
Sorry, it's just a matter of principal. I refuse to pay for a device, regardless of how clever it is when they charge $25.00 for twenty cents worth of molded plastic. I appreciate he basic fact that everyone deserves to make a fair profit but I come back to my original statement, $25.00 dollars for an inexpensive piece of plastic is absurd. I'll use the vacuum to collect the primers that my rcbs collector misses. The exercise will be good for me.
I do that on a regular basis it seems. My solution when sizing is to place my hand in front of the primer catcher. Still when I spill the mess myself I wonder why I even bother. Maybe I'll just start letting them all go on the floor and sweep em up after...Just dumped the Filled RCBS primer catcher on the floor!! 20 minuets later I'm @ 6BR and see this thread, talk about timing. Will be ordering ASAP.
