Can you post a picture of that Jewell? If not how about a little information to look it up? Thanks

It’s a Volvo with a different name called the polestar two. Depends on the state you’re in but between federal and state tax credits you get about 10k off the cost of the car. Once you factor in gas and in my case the depreciation you can take on it as a business asset they really start to be a no brainer. I guess you could consider me a treehugger but when you do the math it really comes hard to justify a gas/diesel unless you haul a lot or routinely drive more than 200-300 miles at a time.

I’ll die before I sell my 12v Cummins but I do appreciate not having to drive it to the grocery store.

Thank you. That's a nice ride. Don't know if I'll get one but I will check them out.

A few problems I have with EVs

Once there gets to be enough of them some very knowledgeable people say the grid won't support keeping them all charged.

Once there gets to be enough of them the revenues from gas and diesel taxes are going to suffer and the state and fed are going to have to levy some sort of road use tax on them.
Right now EV users are getting heavily subsidized between fuel taxes and tax credits. That's going to end at some point.

Lack of charging, heating and AC cutting into the range, hills and wind cutting into the range etc. I realize these factors decrease efficiency on ICE vehicles as well but refueling is not an issue with them other than cost.

The EVs definitely have a place but they're certainly not for everybody.
