I personally think all of our barrel manufacturers are here serving all the different type of shooting we have available to us an some get noticed some don't but that's ok we all are here to serve the shooting communities needs that's my pennies worth.

I have a 220 swift Douglas barrel and it shoots pretty good when I take my meds, lol... but it has produced several groups in the low .1's... so for me that's dam good...Douglas is a good barrel

In YOUR case your being Rude and you obviously have it "in" for both of these manufacturers, which you probably know little to Nothing About !!

Maybe it's You & Not the Barrels - Seeing's how all you can do is categorize them with "a tent stake.....IF they were FREE."

I was not told what the barrels were used for in his reply below

"I have sent about 30 or 40 barrels this year a variety of different calibers to Sierra to do testing on 'something' they're working on."

I don't know what the "something" is Sierra was working on that requires bullets be shot in them. There's dozens of ballistic tests that require that besides accuracy tests.

When it was a new thread five years ago the one cat was referring to "double" buttoned barrels....perhaps Mr. Taylor would be so kind as to please elaborate {if you can sir}??? That same cat was also claiming to shoot a one inch group at 300 yards in a 20 mph crosswind too.
Is there such thing as "double" buttoned barrels???? Thanks in advance for any info.

Double button barrels have a dual football looking rifling button. Its one button with 2 ironing buttons on the same piece. Think of this button twice back to back.
