Preferred target bullet for a .223 9 twist

They have the 69gr Scenar that will do wonders in a 1:9 no matter if you are 9.5 or 8.5 Their 77gr is also worth a try. These bullets aren't normally mentioned due to the higher cost compared to Sierra, or Hornady, but any competitor knows to watch out for Lapua! The "-L" variation should be good to try out too, again 69 or 77gr.

High BC For a 77gr is .386 G1, which is better than the .362 for Sierra 77gr.

I have a Savage 12bvss, 69 smk, 25.4 varget, very accurate.

It may be better served to try some 68gr bullets with that twist, but wont hurt anything to give some of the 75grainers a try.

I run sierras 69g MKHP bullets in my 1/9" when Im just going to punch paper or steel at the range.
Runs about 2850 in my Savage and 700yds is not a big deal.

I have one of those rifles. It shoots 68 Hornady HPBT and 69 HPBT Serrias the same. A little Varget and a Tula SRM primer and you will be set.
