No pictures no proofThe Rock River Varmint that I had would easily shoot the groups posted previously at 300 yds. From my understanding they use Wilson barrels as what I'm told so does White Oak. I've used probably 50 Wilson AR barrels and EVERY one of their 223 Wylde barrels shot extremely good.
My RRA left quite a long time ago, I might have a target in a folder with a 20 rd 1" group at 300. Very accurate but just too damn heavy to carry around chasing yotes with hounds, it made more than 1 person change their opinion on how accurate an AR can be. I actually parted it out and the barrel went to a bud in NC. He seems to think pretty highly of it.No pictures no proof!! Remember those were shot during a match and magazine feed. I'm with you on the RRA Varmint. Mine shoots really good but not that good or consistent.
PS I just like to look at pictures "gun porn"!!
Mine is pretty heavy also but it shoots well and it's been to the prairie dog fields a few times. It works well for that.My RRA left quite a long time ago, I might have a target in a folder with a 20 rd 1" group at 300.
