Powder temp sensitivity chart

I’m looking for the temp sensitivity (ie fps/deg). I’ve seen an old chart dated 2018 but nothing more recent.
Specifically I’m curious about the following powders:
RL-15
RL-16
Viht N135
Viht N140
Viht N150
Varget
H4350

Thanks for your help guys.

Dave
From various sources:

N140 - 0.40 fps per degree
N150 - 1.08 fps per degree
RL 15 - 1.152 fps per degree above 50 degrees
RL 16 - 0.34 fps per degree
Varget - 0.13 fps per degree
H4350 - 0.12 fps per degree

Fellas, keep in mind, that in my experience temperature sensitivity differs based on cartridge. What has been temperature sensitive in one cartridge may be less or more so in another. I have not found any information on what causes this cartridge to cartridge or how to predict it. Maybe it's worth some testing.

Bottom line is what is temp sensitive in a 308 may be completely different in a 6br or 223. I also wonder if case fill % plays a role as well.

My take on this is the powder itself has the same temperature sensitivity regardless of cartridge. But, the change in velocity due to the temperature sensitivity can differ between cartridges because of case capacity, pressure difference, bullet weight, etc.

Dave M,
For what it's worth RL15 was by far, the most temperature sensitive powder in my 6 Dashers as well. Varget was the least sensitive by a large margin and the powder I still use today. Gonna try some VV140 or VV150 one of these days to get away from Hodgdon powders across the board. RL15,RL16, Varget, H4350, and N555 were all tried and most shot great. Good luck!

Dave,
See Donavan’s post above.

In a dasher for F-class, RL-16 shot small from 20*F to 105*F same load.
About 3013 fps, 35.0gr behind a 105VLD hunting (orange box) Berger.
It takes a slow pour to get it in the case, but super stable at all temps tested at.

I shot this load( 35.0-35.3gr depending on lot) for several years, through several barrels in both 600 and 1000 yard F-Class with fantastic results at both yardages.

I can say with some confidence, RL-16 and RL-23 are by some measure the most temp stable powders I’ve ever tested. RL-23 in a WSM is pure nectar.

H4350 in a dasher??? Never heard of that one. RL-15 shoots lights out but is the dirtiest powder I’ve ever shot by far.

Same here.
