Powder loads for different BRASS/WEIGHTS????

Hello all, I hope all is well. Shooting and re-loading a 7MM RSAUM. Have recently purchased several boxes of NOSLER 7RSAUM Brass, and have been previously loading Remington brass with 65.9gr of H1000. Upon weighing both the NOSLER and REMINGTON I discovered a weight difference of 16 grains between the two with the NOSLER being the heavier. Both brass pieces were prepped and ready to be loaded. The 65.9gr of H1000 is creating a compacted load in the NOSLER Brass. I would like to use the H1000 so how much do I back off to load the NOSLER brass to compensate for the 16gr weight difference without creating over pressure.

Best Regards, Chris.

I would back off 10% and re-work up to the preferred load watching for pressure signs along the way. You may get answers to back off less than this but to me, it's not worth the risk. With 16gr difference and a compressed load on the new brass, there could be a big change in pressure. Give yourself some credit here, you noticed a difference and stopped to ask. Good job Chris.

Yup, kinda what the Snake said, it's time for a rework.
Sad but true,, No Math is going to give you the answer.

I had to learn the same lesson with different brass. My sweet load in one name brand was spraying bullets instead of grouping with another name brand. Found the difference in charge was 3 tenths.
So if your pushing max it's darn good advice to back off and work up again. ::)

I honestly haven't seen a load book or any source that doesn't say to rework loads for different brass.
