IMO the AE rifles are seriously under rated. I’ve seen a few for sale in $1750-1800 range, and that is a steal for a complete setup with the quality AI is know for. Are there fancier setups, yeah, do they shoot any better, no.

I have 3/4” flats milled into my tubes and use an Adams action wrench for 45 sec barrel changes. Not as easy as the AT but it’s still convenient enough.

I know i was searching for a while before my AT i seemed to always be late and then i found a killer deal on my AT with ammo included for $3k shipped.

Terminus action 223 Ackley on an AI chassis. I finally threw my Bighorn TL2 and 3 in the trash. Trading heavy bolt lift for crappy feeding and crappy customer service was a good call. Bighorn used to be such a top shelf company too.

Very happy with the switch to a 3 lug action, it feeds like butter.

I have about 500-600 rounds on the action and it keeps getting smoother.

These are going to be different by next weekend...

While they are both MPA Comp chassis, you can see the each has a different butt pad and grip. I am moving the gray chassis to a different action and going with an AI AX chassis. I also ordered up a lateral adjustable cheek piece and what is supposed to be a thinner butt pad from MPA. I am also moving from the MPA mounts for both of these and replacing them with SPUHR 4002's.

I’ve looked at the MPA scope mounts, I’m curious why your changing. Spuhr is amazing, are you just wanting a Spuhr or did you have an issue?

This one is absolutely sick!!! I've always been a Manners T5A or PRS-1 guy when it comes to stocks, but that KMW Sentinel looks like has great ergonomics.

This is at a 600 yard F-Class match. I shot a PRS match with same rifle.
Nowhere near competitive, but had a great time!
Stevens 200 in 7mm-08AI. Stiffened forestock, bedded action, factory barrel, EGW 20 MOA one piece base, Vortex Viper low 30mm rings, Sightron STAC 4-20X50 MOA2 reticle, Atlas clone bipod, U-Haul shipping blanket.

Ammo is PPU casings, Fed210M, 140gr Berger VLD over Alliant PP2000.
2,832 fps at muzzle. ES-6/SD-2.
