How thick is your AR500?Thanks, muleman.
Everything available at Lowe's or Home Depot except the AR500 steel plate. Tools required: hacksaw and drill.
And if you unscrew one leg, it all stores flat and very compact.
Hows is your cross bar put together and what size of bars?

Try these;
Full disclosure, this is my son's company.
The bar, legs and mounting plates disassemble without tools and can fit back into the heavy cardboard shipping box. Chains are placed on hooks on the cross bar

Wow thanks for the write (Wonderfull) Were did you get the AR500 and will they cut it to sizeThe AR500 is 3/8" thick, 8" diameter but obviously U shaped to accommodate the hanging holes. If I recall correctly, I used 1/2" black pipe and 1/2" rebar for the stand. One complete stand uses one 2' pipe and two 4' pipes (threaded on ends) all cut in half plus one 2' piece of rebar, 2 tees and 2 elbows (male on one end, female on other end). The hanger straps are made from 1/8x1x36 steel strapping, cut into 6" lengths, 3/8" holes drilled into each end and bent into a U. By unscrewing the front legs (as pictured) , everything will lay flat. Just screw the legs back on, slide the steel on the rebar, then slide the rebar into the pipe ends and its ready to shoot. Everything is cheap and easy to replace if anything gets shot.
Will 1/2" rebar slide into 1/2" pipe? Maybe I used the next size bigger pipe or the next size smaller rebar. Anyway, easy to figure out at Lowe's or Home Depot. Oh, and if you wanted the steel to be a little higher off the ground, a 1' piece of pipe could be added between the tee and elbow. But the elbow would need to be changed out to a double female.

Okay,I'll check it out at local machine shop,Thats a good price, somebody told me AR500 was up to $1000 a sheet for 1/2 inch I believeSorry, can't remember, bought 3 about 5 years ago. Found the place on the internet and I think the place was in Illinois. I think I paid around $45 for the three.
I paint the steel with white spray paint, then draw the crosshairs on with a straight-edge and a broad magic marker.
