Places to shoot in Arizona

I recently moved from WI to AZ and am looking for suggestions on places to shoot long range besides Ben Avery. I'm also looking for information on any PRS type matches and groups. If anyone it looking for someone to shoot with let me know. I live in the west valley.

Where do live in AZ? Phoenix is Ben Avery. Tucson is Tucson Rifle Club. Both have 1000 yard. I also moved from Wisco and shot at Lodi.
 
most anywhere there is BLM land you are free to set up targets and shoot away.

check with the local BLM office for any special rules

and use common sense. make sure of your backstop,.clean up your trash and follow proper safety protocol
 
I just moved from Connecticut to Scottsdale AZ in the beginning of the year. Ben Avery is a great range. The main range is for shooting out to 200 yards. The 1,000 yard range is available when they open it up to group shoots.

Richard............. Yes you can shoot on BLM land......... but during the dry season most areas ban shooting during extreme fire conditions.
 
Thanks to all for the information so far. Please keep it coming. If anyone knows of a hidden gem or private range and wouldn't mind sharing the info with a fellow shooter I would greatly appreciate it. Trying to find a place relatively close so I can shoot on a regular basis.
