Places to shoot 500+ yards near Central PA (17050)

Hey Guys,

Ive been looking for a place to practice and shoot at 500-1000 yards now for almost a year. I live in Central PA, Carlisle area.

I know Shippensburg has a place to shoot...but I hear the chances of getting in are slim to none. Williamsport is a little far away...Id go...but Im looking for something closer (1.5 hours one way would be nice).

Anyone know of anywhere?

Atglen Sportsmen's Club's, a couple counties east, longest range is 500 meters. Not taking any new members at present but you could go as a guest of one.

Mifflin county sportsman association.....500 and 1000

Ridgway Rifle club is about 3 hour west of you.

They have steel silhouettes from 200 meters to 1000 yds.
