Pin gauge sizes

Looking at getting some deltronic pin gauges for dialling in muzzles with. 6mm, 6.5mm and 7mm. Can anybody suggest the sizes that I would be looking at for all these?

I have 2 sets for 6MM, .2360 & .2380, 6.5 = .2560 and 7MM = .2770 I hope that helps.

Have you ever tried using a quality(Interapid) long stem test indicator to dial in a barrel? This method allows direct contact with bore, so you can't get much better than that....

The chamber end is sorted, just need pins to give a reading on the muzzle end to index the barrel while the chamber end is still in the 4 jaw.

Just run the indicator on the muzzle side for your reading. If you are still bent on sticking something inside the barrel, get a set of reamer bushings and let it stick out part way to run your indicator on.

I find dialing in a barrel and indexing, it don't get any better than a long and short stem Interapid DTI's.

Maybe Butch Lambert will chime in, I know he has used the Deltronic pins at one point or another. Not sure if he uses them or not anymore...

I do use Deltronic pins for my initial setup. I buy the sets of 25 pins for each caliber in .0001 increments. Your barrel maker can tell you his mean lapped bore size that he tries to achieve. That tells me my middle size and then I have 12 pins on either side of it. Buying 3 or 4 pins is useless.
