Pierced primer question

Recently my 6br has pierced a few primers. There is about 300 rounds through it & it just started. I read that bushing the firing pin will stop this. I would like to know what you all think before I go & spend money on something that might not work.
Remington 700 6br 28" Brux 8 twist
Winchester SR primers ( been using same lot for over 700 rounds in 6 & 30 Br)
30 grs. Varget

Send it to Greg Tannel. It will end the problem and you will likely have more consistent ignition.

+1 for Greg Tannel and bushing the bolt. I had the same problem using Rem 7 1/2 primers in my 6 BRX. Sent the bolt to Greg and problem solved. Haven't blanked a primer since.
