I wish I had some pics of the shipyards here, Colberg boat works, Stephen's, and a few others. Colberg closed in the late 90's but I am friends with the family and had access to the old ship yards. The last job they did was the USS Potomac refit. Sadly, the last structures were burned by homeless fires last year. Pretty much empty waterfront lots now. I just love walking old shipyards, slipways, dry docks and everything between.

Today's breakfast was baked salmon with citrus and dill, asparagus with lemon and pepper, eggs fried in sumac, paprika and chili flakes, yuzu hot sauce to top it all. It was honey's choice for breakfast in bed today. What she wants, she gets! Thankfully, I had everything in the fridge, lol!



Disposable plates and silverware because she wasn't going to do the dishes after either, lol!

Currently I have two racks of pork back ribs in the smoker with my special house made spice rub, portuguese beans on the stove and will make pancakes to go with it. Before anyone says anything about pancakes and beans, its no different than sweet cornbread and chili, just a different bread!



Of course, when the smoker is running, a cold beer is in hand!
