Looks a little cheaper than Lapua brass is also.Bought some - and so far it is as good or better than Lapua. I only had to skim the necks (.001) to be consistent all around. On my Lapua it’s .003 to be consistent.
I am getting better loads too - I definitely be buying more of the 284 Peterson brass.

@tclaunchThank you gentlemen, looks like I need to give some a try.
I have 2 reamers in 284, one ordered for the Norma as a no turn with .320" ND. seems like it will also work very well with the Peterson. I ordered 100 pieces. My barrel is currently still unfired with a .315" ND. I may run the larger diameter reamer in, and make life easier...lol
@tclaunch
So a .501” at .2 and .4759” at shoulder, 2.1800” length reamer spec should work with Peterson?
Are you using a custom FL Die with the .500”?You will lose primer pockets quickly with .501. My peterson is coming in at .498.
.500 would be the most i would go
Fair enough, can’t comment on the Whidden only used the Wilson and Redding FL Bushing dies...Did you send fired brass to Whidden?No. Just whidden full length dies with bushing.
I haven’t experienced anything negative with them. No “click”.

Yeah it’s weird. I called and made a causal complaint that the boxes that the .284 come in don’t hold rounds loaded for competition. I was told that they choose boxes based on SAAMi specs and can’t be responsible for choosing a box based on any loading possibility or people who chase lands. I told them that was nuts as almost everyone who shoots .284 loads longer than SAAMi but to be fair they didn’t seem interested in making any modification on that front and I probably don’t blame them if they’ve already committed to buying a large amount of the boxes already but it’s still frustrating to have 40 boxes that I can’t use. On the customer service side however they were kind enough to send me four boxes that were one size larger and they’re great for me at local matches now. Boxes aside the brass is great. Better than the opposite occurring.I will say though, the fancy case is worthless it won’t hold a cartridge and close after some erosion. They could just ship in a bag and lower the cost to us consumers and sell a crap ton.

Yes, they have committed to buying 10s of thousands of the boxes they chose to use to get the best price possible. SAAMI and CIP are the only standards so that's what they use. Custom boxes for each order would increase the cost of the product more than it is now.
The boxes they use now are high quality and protect your brass and loaded ammunition. If you're frustrated, pull together a description and a couple of pictures then run an ad here. My guess is that they would sell quickly and you could use the money for the size boxes you want to fit your ammunition.![]()
