Perfect Garmin carrying case

The reason I don't throw stuff away, common old cheap handgun case! Got several of these things I've accumulated over the years trading guns, lo and behold, a perfect carrying case for my new chronograph! IMG_20231201_161844717.jpgIMG_20231201_161925326.jpg
How about that.... John

That is exactly what I'm using. Everything fits in there just right. I got mine from Amazon, less than $10 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0013RF6HG?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

I spent a hour looking for a perfect case, and the one you picked out John was exactly what I came up with. My only problem was I wanted something a little smaller for my shooting bag. I found a case at Home Depot a Husky 6” in the tool section. I spent a little time cutting foam to my liking but this is what I came up with.

Wow you guys are really protecting those. I am overprotective on my equipment but my Garmin is transported in a fleece drawstring bag my wife made.
It sits in the top tray of my shooting box.
These units are very tough and I am sure their durability matches all their outdoor electronics. It sure is fun to fit things up.

Maybe Labradar can market a hard case for the Garmin, I don't think they will have much to do in the future. LOL

one would think that for $600 they would ship it to you in a re-usable 6 cent hard plastic foam lined box.
One would have thought the same thing about the Labradar. At least the Garmin comes with the tripod included.

I see Amazon sells the Labradar for $500 now. No case, no tripod.

Just buy a $400 Trijicon RMR sight and you get a lifetime latching and padded small box for your Garmin!

The Garmin is so impressive for the cost that I'm happy just the way it comes. However, Garmin would have been smart to have an optional hard case that fits perfectly and has their logo on it. I really like the Evergreen 56 but it's just a tad bigger than necessary. Either way, it's MUCH smaller than the Harbor Freight hard case for my LabRadar.

Show and tell time.
I'm old school and Mrs. TTE made this for me to hold my chrono.
