PDog Safari 2024 aka: Doc and Taylor's Excellent Adventure

I started with a Caldwell Stable Table, then added a bushing made out of an Alliant powder jug to the pipe that fits into the base. This took all of the wobble out of the post, then used shim stock to tighten the fit of the top where it slips over the top of the pipe.
Then I added an improved plywood top with thin carpet. These changes didn’t cost much but they turned it into a stable rotating table.

In the beginning 2004
Great Scott folding table.
We were on our way to Nebraska and stopped in Cadiz, Ky and picked up this table from Great Scott Shooter's Supply, Larry Scott.

I’ve got to know about this one top? I made a top very similar years ago. The “honey comb” is used in aviation for strength ( I’m told) . I glued 1/4” underpayment to each side. Very strong, flat and lightweight.

Here is my Cornett pivot table in Montana with the Blackbird 375 Cheytac set up. Shot to 2500 yds and was going to 3 or 3.5 K but wind was horrible so I stopped at breaking a head size rock at 2500 yds.Cornett pivoting table in Montana, 2500 yards, cheytac.jpg
