Voldoc is in experimental stage now of building another shooting table that one man can easily handle. We have come a long way from the first trip. I started out with a table that folded up like a card table. the top was so flimsy it swagged in the middle with the weight of a Farley and rifle. Then I had a heavy top table with screw in legs that was rock stable for the 1,000 yard shots. I also have a original Pivot BR LITE table from Rick in Oregon.

Great pictures and write up guys. I just feel fortunate to have made some of those trips with friends. My partner passed away but if I ever go again I think I'll put a AR together. I've got a brand new trigger tech trigger setting here for one.

Kruzan- 3 amigos in Holly view from behind by trailer.jpg
3 Amigos Glassing at 1,000 yds. I used 115 bergers, Kruzan 105 A-max, Doc 87 V-max. All were 6mm DASHERS

Congratulations on the 1000yard prairie dog shots. I know how hard it is to hit one that far out.
That is my goal, but I am still looking for that 1000 yard hit.

I just returned from 3 days at the Rosebud Reservation in South Dakota, it was at best average, as it gets a LOT of hunting pressure. One day was rainy, one day was good, and the last day was very good, and was sunny, warm, and low winds. We had plenty of dogs to shoot at, and I managed a few at 500+. We had 6 of us shooting, and everyone went home happy. Of course we go home happy, no matter the shooting results, after all, it's Prairie Dog hunting with your buddies !

Went there my first trip. Next year we were headed out again to Rosebud but stopped in a little restaurant on side of the road in Nebraska and the waitress there hooked us up with local rancher. Never went to Rosebud again.

A this Year's Pup at that =about 1/2 size Adult

even though I did kill a 1108 yard pup with the ol hornady 62gr eld-vt in the 22 dasher. I still think I loved the 22 ARC in my ar-15 shooting the factory 62gr hornady eld-vt or match ammo I killed a ton of dogs 800 plus with that thing and one big thing I love about it is my new brass catcher from BRASS GOAT it is life changing over the cheap fabric ones and very easy to put on and take off. Anyone that shoots AR needs to have one the guy that owns the company is an extremely nice guy and will go out of his way to please his customer. One of best trips of my life now if I can just get ol @voldoc02 to go on a goat hunt in Wyoming if we can find someone to hunt on that is… I tell ya one thing I sure am glad that I have finally changed ol @voldoc02 over to the first focal place scope world and better yet he is starting to like vortex. That new primal rights finish vortex radian tripod with leveling head looks nice.HaHAHA . It’s hard to beat a company when you have a pair of vortex furry 500 hd ab binos and there not working right you call them and they tell you to go to the nearest sporting goods store and they will have a new set waiting for ya. Can’t complain about that

Evolution of our shooting tables over the 20!years of Prarie dogging
Great Scott folding table , Greg Culpepper 3 screw in legs, Cornett revolving table, original BR Pivot Lite revolving table by RICK IN OREGON, and latest is the Legacy Shooting Table.
Pics to follow.
